In addition to multiple restaurants planned for MarketPlace Terrell Mill, Powers Ferry Road has a new restaurant, with another starting construction. The Orient opened in January 2021 in the totally remodeled building that once housed Houston's and Sage Woodfire Tavern. The new 4-lane thoroughfare is extending Bentley Road south from Terrell Mill Road to the current intersection of Windy Hill Road and Spectrum Circle. Now open as of October, 2022, it will begin to absorb significant traffic that would otherwise end up on Powers Ferry Road. Read more on our Connector page. Two Gas Stations totally rebuilt
Since Kroger announced that its new store at MarketPlace Terrell Mill would have fuel pumps, two nearby stations have been totally rebuilt. The BP at Powers Ferry and Terrell Mill reopened in early 2020. The long-closed Shell station just a block further south was demolished and rebuilt from the ground up, opening in November of 2020.
